Jayanta Mondal is a Bangladeshi visual artist based in Dhaka, With both BFA and MFA degrees in Drawing & Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Jayanta's work focuses on socio-political themes and the transformative role of art in society. Alongside his studio practice, he is passionate about art education and youth engagement. His skills include painting, drawing, acting, and organizing. Jayanta has received several recognitions, such as the Anwarul Haq Memorial Award (2019), Mahabubul Amin Memorial Award (2016), and a scholarship from the Ministry of Education. His works are held in prominent collections including the Bangladesh National Museum, Indian High Commission, Bangladesh Police Liberation War Museum, and Cumilla University.
