Bangladesh
Ariful Islam (b. 1988, Narayanganj, Bangladesh) is a multidisciplinary artist, illustrator, and educator. He has been teaching Art & Craft at Green Bud Nursery School since 2008, and also serves as a part-time lecturer at Narayanganj Fine Art Institute (2015–2024) and as an Art & Craft teacher at Bangladesh Shishu Academy (since 2020). In parallel with teaching, Ariful has been a National Textbook Illustrator for the National Curriculum & Textbook Board and a Children’s Book Illustrator for Room to Read Bangladesh since 2011. His creative work spans drawing, painting, crafting, design, and typography, with a focus on nurturing artistic learning and creative thinking in children.
